数学/Math
各班老师
Math class is intended for all grade levels, covering topics from basic arithmetic
such as addition, multiplication, and fractions, to higher-level topics such as algebra. The class is
intended to help students who are looking to get ahead of the normal school curriculum or simply practice
problem-solving skills during the summer.
北堂的数学课程适合所有年纪的孩子，涵盖的主题从基本的算术，如加法乘法和分数，到更高层次的主题，如代数。数学课的目的是帮助那些想要超越普通学校课程进度的学生和加强解决问题能力的学生。
中文/Chinese
各班老师
夏令营的中文课给孩子们介绍中文和中国文化，孩子们会学到中国节假日，民间故事和中国的一些著名建筑物。在课堂里孩子们会锻炼中文的听，说，读，写。夏令营结束的时候孩子们还有中文表演。
This class will introduce students to the Chinese language and culture. Students
will learn about various Chinese holidays, folk stories, and landmarks. The kids will also be taught
speaking, reading, and writing in the Chinese language.
Robotics
The Wonder robot class is intended for higher grade levels where students will learn programming in the popular language Javascript.
They will also get to interact with Wonder robots from Wonder via either block-based code or the more traditional text-based code.
The kids will be encouraged to improve their coding and critical thinking skills as they write scripts for the robots.
Wonder机器人课程是为高年级学生准备的，学生将学习流行语言Javascript的编程。他们还可以通过基于块的代码或更传统的基于文本的代码与Wonder中的Wonder机器人进行交互。在为机器人编写脚本的过程中，孩子们将被鼓励提高他们的编码和批判性思维技能。
编程系列/Programming
Scratch Jr. (1st to 4nd Grade)
The students will use the Scratch Jr. application on their smartphones, iPads, or tablets to create their own interactive stories and games. They will learn how to build their projects and solve problems using engaging visuals. Tablets will be provided during the summer camp.
学生将使用手机，iPad或平板电脑上的Scratch Jr.应用程序来创建自己的互动故事和游戏。他们将学习怎样建立自己的项目并以使用有趣的图片方式解决问题。夏令营提供平板电脑。
Python (5th Grade & Up)
Python class is intended for higher grade levels where students will learn programming in a graphic way. Kids will use python graphic package to lean the coding. kids will be encouraged to improve their coding and critical thinking skills as they write code to move turtle on the screen, to draw various interesting shaps and create fancy pattens.
Python课程旨在面向较高年级的学生，他们将以画图形方式学习编程。 孩子们将使用Python图形包来学习编码。 即在屏幕上移动“乌龟” 来绘制各种有趣的形状并创建花式图案。

画画课/Art

本课程主要针对培养激发孩子们的想象力，创造力和观察能力，记忆力着手，通过基本的线条，图形，色彩，使用多种绘画工具相结合，引导他们，让他们观察，发挥自己的想象，希望他们学会如何自己画画，最重要的是让他们喜欢画画，希望他们每个人通过画画的过程，画出自己的想法，自己的画。
This course primarily focuses on fostering and stimulating children's imagination, creativity, and observational skills, as well as memory. Starting with basic lines, shapes, and colors, and utilizing a variety of drawing tools, we guide them to observe
and unleash their imagination. We hope they learn how to draw on their own, and most importantly, to enjoy drawing. We aim for each of them to express their own ideas and create their own artwork through the process of drawing.
舞蹈课/Dance

Fun Rhythm 本课程采用德国奥尔夫音乐教学法 (Orff Pedagogy)和匈牙利柯达伊 身体律动教学法 (Kodaly Pedagogy)，通过游戏、歌曲、故事和简单乐器使 儿童学会欣赏、体验直至创作自己的音乐。培养身体协调性、肢体 语言的表 达能力和创造性思维。为学习各类器乐和舞蹈做好充分的准备 , 有效提高 private lesson的学习效率。适合 3-6岁小朋友， 不限男女。 Rainbow 为北堂夏令营特别开设的课程 , 适合年龄范围更加宽泛。 课程会选用优美有趣的音乐提高孩子们的兴趣和让有基础和没基础的 孩子一起动起来希望在暑期结束的时候可以呈现一个小舞剧。
圣经故事/Bible Stories

Our Bible classes are aimed at giving students a good grounding in the stories of
scripture, as well as introducing them to the Christian faith as both a force for cultural and historical
change as well as a personal walk with their Creator who loves them. Familiarity with the basic Bible
stories is emphasized and students are encouraged to re-tell the stories in their own words at the end of
every week.
户外活动/Outdoor Activities
室外活动将在教堂建筑后面的操场上进行。该区域设有一个游乐结构，包括秋千、滑梯和一个小房子。操场还配备了足球、迷你球门和一个沙盒，供孩子们玩耍使用。
Outdoor activities will occur within the playground at the back of the church building. This area houses a single play structure which includes swings, a slide, and a miniature house.
The playground also includes soccer balls, mini goal posts, and a sand box set with which the kids can play
with.
武术课/Martial Art

An introduction to Chinese martial arts: During this summer’s kung fu class, kids will learn basic concepts and movements of traditional Chinese martial arts. Specifically, they will study basics from Shaolin temple boxing. During these time-restricted courses students will learn basic warmups, stretches, and stance work. As the summer goes by, more concepts and movements will be introduced as time allows.
A note from the teacher:
Traditional Chinese martial arts are very strenuous. Though this course will be a stripped-down, basic
course, your child will still be made to work hard during their time with me. Please be aware, this will not
be “play time” it will require hard work and discipline! 谢谢

出生于武术世家。少年入选北京体育学院少年武术队和北京市武术二队。科班出身。获得过北京市武术邀请赛全能第四名和甲级拳冠军。精通现代长拳和刀枪剑棍等器械，以及传统内家拳形意拳，
擅长实用散打防身技能。王老师治学严谨，深入浅出，深受学生和家长们的喜爱。目前在学人数troy、Novi、安娜堡三地超过80人。他的学生去年在加州国际武术冠军赛上荣获一金六铜的好成绩，目前正在备战2026年第一届The
youth Olympic 武术比赛。武术无论强身健体还是参与竞赛，对培养孩子们的自律、坚韧不拔，爆发力、弹跳力、协调性和自信心都有好处。希望孩子们喜欢。
